Title: Rh Discrepancies in Perinatal Patients – a practical approach to management
 
Objectives:
  1. Gain a basic understanding of the complexity of the Rh blood group system and the significance of the weak and variant RhD types for transfusion and prenatal testing.
  2. Appreciate the complexities of implementing and new test procedure in a laboratory and the need for ongoing collaboration between the testing laboratory and the physicians/hospital laboratories in managing the implementation.
