Title: Rh Discrepancies in Perinatal Patients – a practical approach to management
Objectives:
- Gain a basic understanding of the complexity of the Rh blood group system and the significance of the weak and variant RhD types for transfusion and prenatal testing.
- Appreciate the complexities of implementing and new test procedure in a laboratory and the need for ongoing collaboration between the testing laboratory and the physicians/hospital laboratories in managing the implementation.
